Diamond Light™ Analysis:

explanation (pdf)

We use patented technology to give you a simple credit card sized product as an add-on to any lab report the diamond might already come with, such as GIA, AGS or EGL.

We report Brilliancy, Sparkle and Intensity for round, princess and marquise shaped diamonds.  This service is especially important for round brilliants and square princess cuts deemed to have fine cutting and high light return.  Get a premium price for premium cuts regardless of the grading lab which did the color and clarity grading.  You can give technically astute customers the information they need to make a decision to buy.  The card is very simple to explain and is not overly complex.

Screening your diamond inventory to determine which diamonds will best qualify is very inexpensive.  We can screen and then grade loose diamonds and most mounted solitaires.  Final report fees are weight and volume dependent.

Retail Replacement Value appraisal service:

Traditional complete, professional documentation of quality and description of jewelry items, including their set diamonds, and colored gems.  Modern, Reproduction and Period jewelry.    Of course, we only appraise items within our scope of knowledge.  There are pieces that we are not familiar enough with to properly evaluate.  We are always ready to consult with you before you waste any shipping expenses.

Color photos of each item and clarity plots of diamonds 1.00ct and larger on every report.

Minimum fee are very low and you can offer such reports to your customer for a $100 minimum or more.  You will make money on these quality reports.  This is especially good for providing appraisal services on items you did not sell in your store, so that you can give you customers what they need in an unbiased and fair manner.

Loose Diamond Grading Reports:

You may have diamonds in your inventory that don’t have major lab grading reports.  A professional report will help you sell a diamond faster.  We provide documents for each stone at a very competitive rate.  These reports will be graded using GIA terminology and grading strategy.  Honest, reliable and proper reporting at fair fees are our prime goals.

We generally use a Parametric Cut Grade for all fancy and round shapes, or reports can be made without any cut grade reference.  It is your choice, or we can only put the cut grade on those diamonds which meet a certain minimum level of cut quality or above, as set by you.  Call for rates.

Laser girdle inscription is available for a small additional fee.

You’ll find DGLA a useful service to your store(s).  Please don’t hesitate to let us work with you and your firm.
